212 - ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Bakkār narrated to me, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Sulaymān Abū Ismā‘īl al-Mu’addib narrated to us, saying: I heard ‘Atiyya al-‘Awfī narrating from Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“Indeed, those in the highest ranks and the inhabitants of ‘Illiyyīn will be seen by those below them just as you see a brilliant star on the horizon. Abū Bakr and ‘Umar will surely be among them, and will surpass them.”
