2 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: Abū Muhammad ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Khazzāz, who was a trustworthy narrator, narrated to us, saying: Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿd narrated to us, from ʿUbayda ibn Abī Rā’ita, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Rahmān, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Mughaffal, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“Fear Allah! Fear Allah regarding my Companions! Do not make them targets after me. Whoever loves them does so out of love for me, and whoever hates them does so out of hatred for me. Whoever harms them has harmed me, and whoever harms me has offended Allah. Whoever offends Allah, He will soon seize him.”
