197 - ‘Abdullāh narrated to us, saying: ‘Abbās ibn Muhammad al-Dūrī narrated to me, saying: ‘Uthmān ibn ‘Umar ibn Fāris narrated to us, saying: Fulayh ibn Sulaymān narrated to us, from Suhayl ibn Abī Sālih, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“What an excellent man Abū Bakr is, and what an excellent man ‘Umar is!”
١٩٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ قَالَ: نا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ فَارِسٍ قثنا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «نِعْمَ الرَّجُلُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَنِعْمَ الرَّجُلُ عُمَرُ» .
