169 - ‘Abdullāh narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Talīd ibn Sulaymān Abū Idrīs narrated to us: Abū al-Jahhāf informed us, from ‘Atiyya al-‘Awfī, from Abū Sa‘īd al-Khudrī, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:
“The inhabitants of the highest ranks will indeed be seen by the people of Paradise who are below them, just as you see the brilliant star. Abū Bakr and ‘Umar are indeed among them, and well deserving they are.”
١٦٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، قثنا تَلِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أَبُو إِدْرِيسَ قَالَ: أنا أَبُو الْجَحَّافِ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ الْعَوْفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ أَهْلَ الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى لَيَرَاهُمْ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْ أَسْفَلَ مِنْهُمْ كَمَا تَرَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الدُّرِّيَّ، وَإِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ لَمِنْهُمْ، وَأَنعَمَا» .
