18 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, saying: Abū Muʿāwiya narrated to us, saying: A man also narrated to us, from Mujāhid, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who said:

“Do not revile the Companions of Muhammad, for Allah, Almighty and Majestic, commanded that forgiveness be sought for them, knowing that they would be killed.”
