145 - ‘Abd Allāh narrated to us: My father narrated to me: Asbāt narrated to us: Kathīr al-Nawwā’ narrated to us, saying: I asked Zayd ibn ‘Alī about Abū Bakr and ‘Umar, and he said:

“Be loyal to them both.”

I asked, “What do you say about someone who disavows them both?”

He replied, “I disavow him until he repents.”
