Ahmad informed us,

4 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; ʿUbayd Allah ibn ʿUmar al-Jushami and Suwayd ibn Saʿid narrated to us. They said: al-Muʿtamir ibn Sulayman related to us, from his father, from Hanash, from ʿIkrimah, from Ibn ʿAbbas, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said: “Whoever drinks a beverage that clouds his intellect has entered one of the gates of the major sins.”
