26 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; al-Hasan ibn ‘Isa narrated to us; he said: Ibn al-Mubarak informed us; he said: Husayn ibn ‘Abd Allah, on the authority of ‘Ikrimah, reported that a man asked Ibn ‘Abbas about the nabidh prepared for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He replied, “He would drink during the day whatever had been prepared the previous night, and he would drink at night whatever had been prepared during the day.”
