17 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abu Khaythamah narrated to us; he said: Mu‘adh ibn Mu‘adh narrated to us; he said: Muhammad ibn ‘Amr narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, from Ibn ‘Umar, who traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ: “Every intoxicant is wine, and every intoxicant is unlawful.”
