Aḥmad informed us, ⦗57⦘

14 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Asadi narrated to us; he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Ayyub, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, who traced it back to the Prophet and said: “Every intoxicant is wine, and every intoxicant is unlawful. Whoever drinks wine and dies while addicted to it, without having repented, will not drink it in the Hereafter.”

Aḥmad also informed us,

15 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; Ahmad ibn Jamil and al-Hasan ibn ʿIsa both said: ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubarak informed us; he said: Hammad ibn Zayd informed us; he said: Ayyub informed us, from Nafiʿ, from Ibn ʿUmar, from the Prophet ﷺ with the same wording.
