8 – Abu Bakr narrated to us; Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Asadi narrated to us; he said: Saʿd ibn Aws narrated to us, from Bilal ibn Yahya al-ʿAnsi, from Abu Bakr ibn Hafs, from Ibn Muhayriz, from Thabit ibn al-Simt, from ʿUbadah ibn al-Samit, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Toward the end of my community, people will undoubtedly declare wine lawful by giving it another name.”
