Ahmad also informed us:

7 – Abu Bakr transmitted to us; Ahmad ibn Ibrahim narrated, saying, “I heard Shuʿayb ibn Harb relate that He—Exalted is He—said: ‘For My servant to kill is dearer to Me than for him to become intoxicated, for when he is drunk he no longer recognizes Me.’”
