Ahmad ibn al-ʿAbbas al-Namari recited to me:
Indeed, I place my hope in Allah until it seems as though
through the fairest expectation I can already see what Allah will bring to pass.
أَنْشَدَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ النَّمَرِيُّ:
[البحر الطويل]
وَإِنِّي لَأَرْجُو اللَّهَ حَتَّى كَأَنَّنِي ... أَرَى بِجَمِيلِ الظَّنِّ مَا اللَّهُ صَانِعُ
