96 – Salamah ibn Shabib related to us; al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn Aʿyan narrated to us. He said: I heard Zuhayr ibn Muʿāwiyah say, “I heard Abū Shaybah al-Zubaydī declare: ‘I feared for my own soul and placed my hope in my Lord; therefore I long to leave the one I dread and return to the One in Whom I hope.’”
