72 – Ibrāhīm ibn Rāshid narrated to me; Abū Rabīʿah and Ḥajjāj al-Anmāṭī narrated to us, saying: Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thābit, from Shahr ibn Ḥawshab, from Asmāʾ bint Yazīd, who said: “I heard the Prophet ﷺ recite this verse: ‘O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins, and He does not mind. Indeed, He is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful’ (39:53).”
