54 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn asserted that Shuʿayb ibn Muḥriz had narrated to them. He said: ʿAbdullāh ibn Shumayṭ narrated to us, saying, “I heard my father speak about sins: he deemed them weighty and tremendous. Then he said, ‘Even if everything by which I have disobeyed You is enormous, within the vastness of Your mercy it is small.’”
