52 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn related to me; Hajjaj ibn Muhammad related to us; Yunus ibn Abi Ishaq related to us, from Abu Juhaifa, from ʿAli ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever commits a sin in this world and is punished for it, Allah is too just to punish His servant for it a second time; and whoever commits a sin in this world and Allah conceals it, Allah is too generous to revisit something He has already pardoned.”
