50 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn related to me; Yaʿlā ibn ʿUbayd related to us; al-Aʿmash related to me, from Abū Saʿīd, from Abū al-Kanūd, who said:

ʿAbd Allāh passed by a storyteller who was speaking about the Fire and said, “O admonisher, why do you make the people despair?” He then recited, “O My servants who have wronged their own souls, do not despair of Allah’s mercy” (Az-Zumar 53).
