5 – Dāwūd ibn ʿAmr narrated to us; Muʿādh ibn Muʿādh narrated to us; Sulaymān informed us; Abū ʿUthmān an-Nahdī narrated to us, from Salmān al-Fārisī (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Indeed, Allah possesses one hundred mercies. Of these, a single mercy has been sent down so that through it all creatures show compassion to one another, while the remaining ninety-nine are reserved for the Day of Resurrection.”
