41 – Mufaḍḍal ibn Ghassān narrated to me, from his father, who said:
“When al-Naḍr ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥāzim was at the point of death, someone said to him, ‘Receive glad tidings!’ He replied, ‘By Allah, it matters little to me whether I die or am carried off to al-Uballah. By Allah, I never leave the sovereignty of my Lord for another, and He has never moved me from one state to another except that the state to which He moved me was better than the one He moved me from.’”
