22 – ‘Ali ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Zuhayr informed us; Saʿd Abu Mujahid al-Taʾi narrated, from Abu al-Madillah, the freedman of the Mother of the Believers, that he heard Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If you did not commit sins, Allah would bring forth a people who would commit sins, and He would forgive them.”
