146 – Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami narrated to us; Muhammad ibn ʿAmr narrated to me; ʿUbaydah ibn Bakkar ibn al-Nadr ibn ʿUbaydah al-Azdi narrated to me; Muhammad ibn Jabir narrated to me, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir comment on Allah’s words, “Is there any reward for goodness other than goodness?” (Quran 55:60). He said: “Is the recompense for the one upon whom I have bestowed the blessing of Islam anything but Paradise? Is the recompense for the one who says: la ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah) anything but Paradise?”
