141 – Ishaq ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Sufyan narrated to us, from Misʿar, from ʿAwn ibn ʿAbd Allah. He recited, “And you were on the brink of a pit of the Fire, and He rescued you from it” (Al ʿImran 3:103), then said, “I hope that Allah will never return you to it after He has saved you from it.”
١٤١ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: " ﴿وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا﴾ [آل عمران: ١٠٣] قَالَ: إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو أَنْ لَا يُعِيدَكُمُ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهَا بَعْدَ أَنْ أَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا "
