140 – I was told through Yaḥyā al-Ḥimmānī; Qays ibn al-Rabīʿ narrated to us; he said, “I heard Zayd ibn ʿAlī say: ‘He called Himself al-Muʾmin (“the One who grants security”) only because He has secured them against punishment.’”
