105 – My father narrated to me; Ismaʿil ibn ʿUlayyah informed us, from al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl al-Huddani, from Libṭah ibn al-Farazdaq, from his father, who said:

“I met Abu Hurayrah and he asked, ‘Who are you?’ I replied, ‘I am al-Farazdaq.’ He said, ‘I notice that the span of your shins is rather slight, and how many a chaste woman you have slandered! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has a Basin whose width stretches from Aylah to such-and-such; if you can, do not let yourself be kept from it.’ When I rose to leave he added, ‘Whatever you have done, never despair.’”
