102 – Al-ʿAbbās ibn al-Faraj al-Riyāshī narrated to us, from al-Aṣmaʿī, from Sallām ibn Miskīn, who said: “Someone asked al-Farazdaq, ‘Why do you slander chaste women?’ He replied, ‘By Allah, Allah is dearer to me than these two eyes of mine—do you think He will punish me after that?’”
