89 – Ishaq ibn Ismaʿil narrated to us; Jarir reported, from Mansur, from Abu ʿAmr al-Shaybani, from Abu Musa al-Ashʿari, who said: “For my nostrils to be filled with the stench of a putrid corpse is dearer to me than for them to be filled with the fragrance of a woman.”
٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ قَالَ: «لَأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ مِنْخَرَايَ مِنْ رِيحِ جِيفَةٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَا مِنْ رِيحِ امْرَأَةٍ»
