51 – Salamah ibn Shabib narrated to me; he said: Sahl ibn ʿĀṣim narrated to us, from ʿIsmah ibn al-Mutawakkil, who said: Luqmān the Wise declared, “The very essence of waraʿ (scrupulous piety) is chastity.”
