Muhammad ibn Salam al-Jumahi narrated to us, saying: Khalid ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, from al-Shaybani, from al-Shaʿbi, who said: “It has reached me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, ‘Whenever a servant of Allah gives up something of this world, Allah grants him, from this world, what is better for him than what he abandoned.’”
