ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Haytham narrated to us, saying: Shuʿayb ibn Harb narrated to us, from Malik ibn Mighwal, from ʿUmar al-Masir, from al-Dahhak, who said, “I remember when the only thing we learned from one another was scrupulous piety.”
