208 – Muḥammad ibn Hārūn narrated to me, saying: “News reached me from Bishr ibn al-Ḥārith that Yūsuf ibn Asbāṭ, when asked about a man from whom a soldier borrows dirhams and later returns them, was asked, ‘What should he do with them?’ He replied, ‘Sweep the privies with them and plaster the rooftops with them.’”
