- Khalid ibn Ziyad al-Zayyat narrated to me, saying: Abu Hafs al-ʿAbdi told us, on the authority of Ghalib al-Qattan, who said: Lawful wealth was once mentioned in the presence of Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Muzani, whereupon Bakr remarked, “If lawful wealth were applied to a wound, it would heal.”
١٩٩ - حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ الزَّيَّاتُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، عَنْ غَالِبٍ الْقَطَّانِ قَالَ: ذُكِرَ الْحَلَالُ عِنْدَ بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيِّ فَقَالَ بَكْرٌ: «إِنَّ الْحَلَالَ لَوْ وُضِعَ عَلَى جُرِحٍ لَبَرِئَ»
