- ʿUbaydallāh ibn ʿUmar al-Jushamī narrated to us, saying: ʿAbdallāh ibn Salm al-Bāhilī related to me: I heard Yūnus ibn ʿUbayd say, “If I knew where to find even a single dirham of trade earnings that was unquestionably lawful, I would buy flour with it, knead and bake it, then dry and grind it once more, and I would use it as a remedy for the sick.”
١٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْجُشَمِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَلْمَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ يُونُسَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ يَقُولُ: «لَوْ أَعْلَمُ مَوْضِعَ دِرْهَمٍ مِنْ حَلَالٍ مِنْ تِجَارَةٍ لَاشْتَرَيْتُ بِهِ دَقِيقًا، ثُمَّ عَجَنْتُهُ ثُمَّ خَبَزْتُهُ، ثُمَّ جَفَّفْتُهُ ثُمَّ دَقَقْتُهُ أُدَاوِي بِهِ الْمَرْضَى»
