- Nasr ibn Ali al-Yahmadi narrated to me; he said: Ziyad ibn al-Rabiʿ al-Yahmadi narrated to us, from his father, who said: I saw Muhammad ibn Wasiʿ selling a donkey in the marketplace of Balkh. A man asked him, “Would you approve of it for me?” He replied, “Had I approved of it, I would not be selling it.”
١٧٠ - حَدَّثَنِي نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْيُحْمِدِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ الْيُحْمِدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ وَاسِعٍ يَبِيعُ حِمَارًا بِسُوقِ بَلْخٍ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ: أَتَرْضَاهُ لِي. قَالَ: «لَوْ رَضِيتُهُ لَمْ أَبِعْهُ»
