- Dawud ibn Muhammad ibn Yazid narrated to me; he said: al-Asmaʿi narrated to us; he said: Sakan al-Kharshi informed us, saying: Yunus ibn ʿUbayd brought me a sheep and said, “Sell it, but first clear yourself of liability by stating that it overturns the manger and pulls up the peg. Do not try to absolve yourself after the sale—make everything plain before you sell.”
