Ismaʿil ibn Abi al-Harith narrated to me, saying, “Kathir ibn Hisham informed us,” who said, “ʿIsa ibn Ibrahim informed us, from Muqatil ibn Qays al-Azdi, from ʿAlqamah ibn Murthad, from Salman, who said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, ‘Tomorrow, Allah’s two beloved ones will be the people of waraʿ (scrupulous piety) and zuhd (asceticism).’”
