123 – Ahmad ibn Ibrahim told us: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim related to us, saying: Muʾammal ibn Ismaʿil informed me, “I heard Wuhayb say, ‘Even if you were to stand (in worship) as unmoving as this column, it would not benefit you until you examine what you put into your stomach—whether it is halal or haram, lawful or unlawful.’”
