114 – Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to us. He said: Shadhan informed us, from al-Hasan ibn Salih, from Mansur:

Mansur was once in the government chancery, and in the office there stood a jar filled with clay. A man said to him, “Pass me some clay so I can seal this document.”

Mansur replied, “Hand me your document first so that I may see what it contains.”
