45 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; Ṣāliḥ ibn Mālik informed me, from Abū ʿUbayda al-Nājjī, from al-Ḥasan, who said:
“By Him in whose hand is my soul, there is not a single believer in this town who awakes without finding himself anxious and sorrowful. So flee to your Lord and seek refuge in Him, for a believer has no rest until he meets Him.”
٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي صَالِحُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ: «وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ مَا أَصْبَحَ فِي هَذِهِ الْقَرْيَةِ مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَقَدْ أَصْبَحَ مَهْمُومًا مَحْزُونًا فَفِرُّوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ وَافْزَعُوا إِلَيْهِ فَإِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ رَاحَةٌ دُونَ لِقَائِهِ»
