26 – Al-Khalil ibn ʿAmr narrated to me, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Idris, from his father, from ʿAtiyyah, concerning the verse, “All praise belongs to Allah, who has removed from us sorrow” (Fatir 35:34). He said: “that sorrow is death.”
