23 – Abu al-Harith Surayḥ ibn Yunus narrated to me, from Khalaf ibn Khalifah, from Mansur ibn Zadhan, who said: “Anxiety and grief increase one’s good deeds, whereas insolence and vain pride increase one’s sins.”
٢٣ - حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الْحَارِثِ سُرَيْحُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، عَنْ خَلْفِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ، عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ زَاذَانِ، قَالَ: «الْهَمُّ وَالْحُزْنُ يَزِيدَانِ فِي الْحَسَنَاتِ، وَالْأَشَرُ وَالْبَطَرُ يَزِيدَانِ فِي السَّيِّئَاتِ»
