162 – Abu Jaʿfar narrated to me: Bishr ibn al-Harith said, “Sorrow is an angel that resides only in a purified heart, and it is the first rung on the ladder to the Hereafter.”
١٦٢ - حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ: «الْحُزْنُ مَلَكٌ لَا يَسْكُنُ إِلَّا قَلْبًا مُطَهَّرًا، وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ دَرَجَةٍ مِنْ دَرَجَاتِ الْآخِرَةِ»
