155 – Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir al-Ḥizāmī narrated to us; he said: Zakariyyā ibn Manẓūr narrated to us; Abū Sulaymān the carpenter told me, from Yaʿlā ibn Munyah: A man had a righteous wife in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. She was indeed a devout woman. Whenever he came home she would say, “Welcome to the master of this house! If your concern is for the Hereafter, may Allah increase that concern; and if it is for this world, Allah will still provide for you and treat you generously.” The man went to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him of what she said. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, “She will receive half the reward of one who strives in the path of Allah, and she is counted among Allah’s workers.”
١٥٥ - ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ مَنْظُورٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سُلَيْمَانَ النَّجَّارُ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُنْيَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَةٌ صَالِحَةٌ فِي زَمَنِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَتِ امْرَأَةً صَالِحَةً - وَكَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا، قَالَتْ: مَرْحَبًا بِسَيِّدِهَا، وَسَيِّدِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهَا، إِنْ كَانَ هَمُّكَ لِآخِرَتِكَ فَزَادَكَ اللَّهُ هَمَّا، وَإِنْ كَانَ هَمُّكَ لِآخِرَتِكَ، فَإِنَ اللَّهَ سَيَرْزُقُكَ وَيُحْسِنُ إِلَيْكَ، فَجَاءَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: «لَهَا نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْمُجَاهِدِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ، وَهِيَ عَامِلٌ مِنْ عُمَّالِ اللَّهِ»
