137 – ‘Abd Allah narrated to us; Ishaq ibn Isma‘il narrated to us; Shu‘ayb ibn Harb, from Malik ibn Mighwal Abū Ya‘fur, from al-Musayyab ibn Rafi‘, reported that ‘Abd Allah said: “It befits the bearer of the Quran to be recognized by his sadness when people rejoice, and by his tears when people laugh.”
١٣٧ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ مِغْوَلٍ أَبُو يَعْفُورٍ، عَنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: «يَنْبَغِي لِحَامِلِ الْقُرْآنِ أَنْ يُعْرَفَ بِحُزْنِهِ إِذَا النَّاسُ يَفْرَحُونَ، وَبِبُكَائِهِ إِذَا النَّاسُ يَضْحَكُونَ»
