9 – Muḥammad ibn Yazīd ibn Rifāʿah narrated to us; he said: Abū al-Ḥusayn al-ʿUklī narrated to us; Suhayl ibn ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: I heard Mālik ibn Dīnār say: “Your grief over this world for the sake of the world strips from your heart the sweetness of the Hereafter, and your delight in this world for the sake of the world likewise strips from your heart the sweetness of the Hereafter.”
