- ʿAbd Allah narrated to us; ʿAli ibn al-Jaʿd related it from one of his companions, from Hammam, from Qatadah, who said: “He suppressed his grief and uttered nothing but good words.”
٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: «كَظَمَ عَلَى الْحُزْنِ فَلَمْ يَقُلْ إِلَّا خَيْرًا»
