80 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ṣāliḥ told me, from Manṣūr ibn Abī Thuwairah, from Fuḍayl ibn ʿIyāḍ, who said: “Solomon once donned a woolen cloak. Someone remarked to him, ‘Would that you wore something softer than this!’ He replied, ‘I am only a servant; I wear the sort of clothing servants wear. When I die, I shall be dressed in a cloak whose seams will never fray.’”
