92 – Shujaʿ ibn al-Ashras narrated to us; Hashraj ibn Nubata narrated to us, from Sufyan ibn Husayn, from ʿAli ibn Zayd, from Muhammad—meaning Ibn al-Munkadir—from Jabir ibn ʿAbd Allah, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “No Muslim who has three daughters—whom he protects, marries off, shows mercy to, and spends upon—fails to obtain Paradise; it becomes obligatory for him.”
A man asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what of the one who has two daughters?” He replied, “And the one who has two daughters.” We even thought that had the man asked, “What about one daughter?” he would have received the same reply.
