88 – ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd narrated to us; Abū Muʿāwiya al-Ḍarīr informed us, from Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī, from Ibn Ḥudayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās, who traced it back to the Prophet ﷺ: “Whoever is granted a daughter and does not bury her alive, does not demean her, and does not favor his other children over her—meaning the sons—Allah will, through her, admit him to Paradise.”
