84 – Ibrāhīm ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥātim narrated to us; Hushaim informed us; ʿAlī ibn Zayd informed us, from Muḥammad ibn al-Munkadir; Jābir ibn ʿAbd Allāh reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Whoever is blessed with three daughters, educates them, arranges their marriages, and provides for them, Paradise is certainly his.”
Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what if they are only two?” He replied, “Even if they are two.”
The narrator added: Some of the people present felt that had they asked, “And if there were only one?” he would have replied, “Even one.”
